Fleur Studd is Co-founder and Director of Market Lane Coffee and Melbourne Coffee Merchants – two of Australia’s leading businesses in speciality coffee. In 2015 she was awarded Trailblazer Award by the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, and in 2016 she was Victorian state finalist at Ernst & Young’s Businessperson of the Year Awards. Prior to her current position, she worked in marketing roles with global organisations such as Disney and lastminute.com in the United Kingdom, but it was her time with Monmouth Coffee in London that motivated her transition from marketing to coffee.
Fleur holds Arts and Commerce degrees from the University of Melbourne and received a Dean’s award for academic excellence. She is a regular speaker at food industry events, most recently presenting her ideas on ‘maintaining authenticity’ at Melbourne’s Grow Academy. She has sat on various awards panels, including the Melbourne Food and Wine Hostplus Scholarship, and has appeared on various panels on small business and innovation with industry leaders and government ministers.
